مدرب عمان يستدعي مهاجم فنجاء لقائمة المنتخب لمواجهة الأردن في التصفيات المونديالية

استدعى الفرنسي بول لوجوين مهاجم نادي فنجاء يونس المشيفري لقائمة المنتخب العماني استعدادا لمواجهة الأردن يوم 16 من أكتوبر الحالي.

وتشير التوقعات إلى أن استدعاء يونس المشيفري جاء بعد إصابة المهاجم الأول في المنتخب العماني عماد الحوسني في مباراة فريقه الأهلي السعودي والتي خسرها أمام نجران بهدفين نظيفين في دوري زين السعودي لكن لم يتم التأكد من خطورة إصابة الحوسني بالإضافة إلى إصابة المهاجم الآخر حمود السعدي في أولى مباريات فريقه ظفار بالدوري العماني وقد تأكد غيابه عن مباراة الأردن ثم الضغوطات الكبيرة التي يواجهها بول لوجوين حول الضعف الهجومي للمنتخب العماني والذي لم يحرز سوى هدف واحد في التصفيات النهائية المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2014.

وكان عدد كبير من الجماهير قد طالبت بإعادة يونس المشيفري إلى المنتخب العماني لحل مشكلة العقم الهجومي خاصة وأن المشيفري تألق الموسم الفائت وقاد فريقه فنجاء إلى لقب بطل الدوري العماني بإحرازه عدة أهداف حاسمة ثم واصل تألقه الموسم الحالي وأحرز هدفا جميلا في شباك الشباب في قمة مباريات الأسبوع الأول من الدوري العماني.

واحترف اللاعب البالغ من العمر (30 عاما) في الدوري الكويتي لأندية التضامن وكاظمة ثم عاد إلى الدوري العماني والتحق بفريق الشباب ثم انتقل إلى فنجاء وساهم معه في إحراز لقب الدوري العماني الموسم الماضي، ويتساوى المنتخب العماني مع استراليا والعراق برصيد نقطتين في مجموعته المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2014 ويتخلف بفارق نقطتين خلف المنتخب الأردني ويطمح لتحقيق الفوز على الأردن لخطف المركز الثاني.
